Vegemite Kid

OK, let me get straight to the point... I hate Vegemite! I was 10 years old when I came to Australia and was emotionally scared with my 1st Vegemite experience. All the kids from Bluff Point Primary School (Geraldton) must of thought it was cool to play a joke on the new American Kid and told me Vegemite was like chocolate spread. Now chocolate & peanut butter are two of my favourite indulgences... Hmm... Peanut M&M's, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (sorry I digress). Anyhow I piled the Vegemite on and took a bite... the rest is bad history.

On the weekend Sammi (who loves Vegemite) decided to add a bit of flavour to Caden's morning toast by adding a small smear, and well, he loved it!

Of course I was on hand with the the camera to document his experience :) Here are a few snaps. As for me, I will turn to Jif for my toast toppings (and no, I'm not referring to the cleaning product LOL!).
